And little things, like not being able to see the table tilt to the left and right, and a hard to control plunger detract from the overall experience. The other view is a full screen mode to see the entire table, but in this view, you lose that close-up detail, sticking you between a rock and a hard place until you get comfortable with one of these views. Your targets and objects are obscured, as are your flippers. The bad - you can't see enough of the table. The good - you can really see the detail featured on the different pinball tables. One zooms the table very close and scrolls the screen upward. The two different views you can use each has a downside. Where it falls short of being great is in actual gameplay execution. Features like this make pinball a blast to play, and Balls of Steel does not disappoint. Add little mini-games that pop-up from time to time via the LCD display, a Space Invaders kind of shooter, and a few other games. Not only is the variety good throughout each, but the tables often contain various goals to accomplish and missions as simple as knocking down a certain object or as complex as defusing a bomb and making sure people flee the building safely that, if completed, will earn you massive points. There are five pinball tables including an alien invasion, a medieval theme, and a table featuring the lovable hero, Duke Nukem. While it does have a few flaws, Balls of Steel scores on both counts. Second, the physics must be good enough to resemble a real pinball table. First, there has to be decent table designs chock full of extra goodies and lots of variety. In order to create a successful PC pinball game, a couple of basic features need to be in place.

![]() DualShockersAug 17, 202030Fast & Furious Crossroads is like if Hobbs & Shaw was called Orange Julius & Slap Jack.Low production values, an absurd driving model and a very short story make it very hard to suggest anyone playing it. Sep 11, 202040Fast and Furious Crossroads is a disappointing game from an experienced studio like Slightly Mad. ![]() And even then, you may want to strongly reconsider this stain on an otherwise loved franchise. There are some bad licensed games out there that I could still recommend to the hardcore fans out of love for the series but Fast and Furious Crossroads is so bad that only the absolute die-hard fans will get any enjoyment out of this one. Whether you like the series or not, you can’t argue that the films are almost always bombastic and entertaining, whereas here it’s just really uninteresting and flat, doing both the Fast and Furious franchise and driving games both a disservice. PlayStation LifeStyleAug 21, 202040The biggest sin that Crossroads commits is being boring a sad take for a franchise that is definitively not.But what’s here is a sumptuous feast for franchise fans and adrenaline junkies alike – more than enough to whet your appetite for next year’s F9. I do think there’s something questionable about it being a full-price release, and I do think the engaging multiplayer content (which I’ll detail in a separate feature) will likely die on the vine thanks to that. TheGamerAug 10, 202080That’s why I mostly love Fast & Furious Crossroads. ![]() We’re not going to say that our game is canon in the Zelda timeline or anything, but based on the characters in the game and certain hints here and there it does have a certain place within the Zelda chronology." -Oliver Trujillo ( Cadence of Hyrule developer stream) ![]() We did think about that a little bit, yes. ![]()
Intervene quickly to save the man who will introduce himself as Titus Gielas. No matter what order you did them, the first 2 pyres will give 10 each, however the last site you get to will have a single man fending off a pack of ghouls. A fair distance away to the southeast is a site with several ghouls.Once the four ghouls are defeated, set fire to the bodies in the pit. Directly north of the first pit, over the hill and down into the thicket.A rotfiend and possibly a few wild dogs may block your path but once dispatched use the holy oil on the bodies in the pit and ignite them with Igni. Just southwest of the priest and his guards. ![]() The bodies can be burned in any order you choose with each spot having a number of enemies. He then gives you holy oil to set afire at each location. He'll be rather condescending but nonetheless asks you to do him a job by setting fire to several of the dead on the battlefield for a proper rite. ![]() The guards standing nearby will initially warn off Geralt but the priest will ask you to approach. This quest is started by speaking to the priest of the Eternal Fire along the road just west of Mulbrydale. |
